Department of Roma Studies and Sociology of Education in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at University of Pécs started to publish a new scientifical periodic issue with the cooperation of the Wlislocki Henrik Vocational College and the Research Center of Romology at the university. The title of the journal is Romológia (Romology).

This periodical gives possibility on the one side for our students and PhD students to bring out their researches and on the other side gives the chance to our colleague and the professionals and experts working together in our research center and in other working groups all over the world to publish and discuss their results.

We aims to generate partnership and dialogue among theese expert groups.

The first issue came out in the June of 2013 and the frequency will be in every quarter year.

Every issue has a main topic with a guest-editor, an expert of this theme. The guest-editor publish a study in the heading „Alappont – Basic point” and gives an interview for us. Connected to this study in the heading „Ütköző – Ring” we generate discuss or conversation about the main topic. In the heading „Szélrózsa – Compass rose” more further study deepen our knowledge. We have a part in the periodical called „Kitekintő – Look-out point” to introduce foreign examples, practices, results. At last we have a „Napló – Diary” to report some important events, conferences or review, summarise different books, prints.
