Katalin Füzér holds degrees in Sociology (MA from ELTE, Budapest; Habilitation from University of Debrecen) and Political Science (PhD, University of Pennsylvania). After studying and doing research at Beloit College, University of Amsterdam, University of Pennsylvania, Freie Universität Berlin, Max-Plank-Institut Frankfurt a. M., she joined the faculty of the Department of Sociology, University of Pécs in 2001. Her research on trust, social capital and digital inequalities investigates micro, meso and macro level social processes and inequalities in several domains such as innovation and development policies.
