At the University of Pécs, you can study psychology as a Single Honours degree. The tuition fee is EUR 3900 per semester for non-EU students and EUR 2900 per semester for EU students.
Please note that an application fee of EUR 140 must be paid before you can submit your application. Once we receive your fee, we will begin evaluating your application and invite you to the entrance exam.
Payment in Instalments
While applicants are required to pay the full tuition fee during the application process, from the second semester onward students may choose to pay the fee in three installments (40%–30%–30%) over the course of the semester.

Academic Fee Reduction
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences offers a merit-based scholarship, which can cover up to 50% of the tuition fee. Students must have completed at least two semesters at our university to be eligible.

Tuition Fee Refund Policy
When refunding paid self-financed tuition fees, the University applies the following two key criteria:
1. Whether the applicant has submitted the enrollment form in the Neptun system, and
2. The date on which the applicant officially notified the University in writing of their intention to withdraw.
1. Applicant has NOT submitted the enrollment form
Written withdrawal notice submitted by 31 August
→ The University of Pécs retains 10% of the first-year tuition fee.
Written withdrawal notice submitted by 30 September
If the full annual tuition fee was paid in advance, the University retains 20% of the paid amount.
If only the first semester’s tuition fee was paid in advance, the University retains 40% of the paid amount.
Written withdrawal notice submitted after 30 September
→ The tuition fee is non-refundable.
2. Applicant HAS submitted the enrollment form
If the full annual tuition fee was paid in advance, the University of Pécs retains 20% of the paid amount.
If only the first semester’s tuition fee was paid in advance, the University of Pécs retains 40% of the paid amount.
3. Establishment of student status
Once a student status has been established, the provisions of the Student Fees and Benefits Regulations (TJSZ) apply.
