This influence is even more apparent in Mexico and in the varieties of Spanish spoken there. The country's vibrant culture is closely connected to Indigenous languages and traditions. Their legacy remains part of everyday life—in local foods, the names of plants and animals, traditions, and even place names on maps. Our Spanish-language lecture will show where this influence can be observed most clearly and how it has shaped local language varieties and cultural diversity. The lecture will last 45–50 minutes and will be followed by a quiz on the presentation and Mexican culture. |
