The purpose of the research center

The research group is compiling data on the lives and official duties of papal representatives (legates, envoys, papal tax collectors, etc.) who came into contact with Hungary in a prosopographic database available in both Hungarian and English. The research group received funding in two cycles through grant programs administered by the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office until 2024.
