Module Selection | Fall semester

The Module Selection Period in the 2024/2025 fall semester is
between 8:00 AM 15th November and 16:00 PM 24th November 2024.

In the case of certain training programmes, the curriculum orders a Specialization module to be chosen.

Training programmes that allow the selection of a Specialization:

Students in the below mentioned training programmes are allowed to choose a Specialization offered by their own training programme:

• MA students in English Studies:
  • module selection is in the first (1) semester - completion of courses starts from the second (2) semester.
• BA students in International Relations BA:
  • module selection is in the third (3) semester - completion of courses starts from the fourth (4) semester.
• BA students in Liberal Arts BA: module selections are:
  • in the first (1) semester: 80 credits worth: - completion of courses starts from the second (2) semester.
  • in the second (2) semester: 50 credits worth: - completion of courses starts from the third (3) semester.
  • For Liberal Arts students: please note that the two module choices/selections must be different and must be selected in separate semesters according to the schedule above.

THE APPLICATION PROCEDURE

• The module selection procedure, like the course registration, takes place in Neptun. After logging in choose Studies in Menu, then Module selection (in new Neptun).

• The curricula of the different training programmes can be found HERE.

• In the case of over-application in modules where the Department has set a maximum number of applicants, the programme will rank students according to their grade point average, so that students with better academic results will be admitted to the module. In the case of a minimum number of applicants, the module will only start if the minimum number of applicants has been reached.

• Students who do not gain admission to the Specialization for which they were ranked first will automatically be placed on the list of the second-ranked module. Admission is decided by the Departments.

After completing the application, students can check which module they have been accepted to in their own Neptun student interface.
