Prof. Brent Duckor - On Feedback for Deeper Learning: From Normative Theory to Practical Usage in Classroom Settings

We are excited to announce an upcoming English lecture hosted by the MTA PTB I. sz. Nyelv- és Irodalomtudományi Szakbizottság Nyelvtudományi Munkabizottsága and The Department of English Linguistics of the University of Pécs. The lecture will feature Prof. Brent Duckor from the Department of Teacher Education at San José State University and a Fulbright Specialist from Washington, D.C., USA.

The lecture titled "On Feedback for Deeper Learning: From Normative Theory to Practical Usage in Classroom Settings," will focus on the question of "Which models, frameworks, strategies, and practices are associated with effective design, implementation, and evaluation of formative feedback-centered work in primary and secondary school settings?" This topic is of great importance to both educators and students, as feedback is an essential component of effective learning.

The lecture will take place on May 2nd, 2023, from 10:00-11:30, at Ifjúság u. 6. E539 in Pécs.

The lecture will be in English, and everyone interested is welcome to attend.
