We would like to inform you that as a result of the model change taking place at the University, the tax number and bank account number of the University of Pécs will change from 1 August, 2021. This will result in a number of financial changes both in the period before and after 1 August.

Because of this, please take the following into account, when choosing a mode of payment:

• It will be possible to pay with foreign currency in the cashier of Szántó until July 20, 2021. This service is expected to be available again from 9 August, 2021.
• It will be possible to pay with HUF, in cash until 12:00 (noon) on 22 July, 2021. This payment method is expected to be available again from 9 August, 2021.
• When making payments via bank transfer, be sure to consider the turn-around time of the bank transfer.
  
  • The bank account of the University at the Hungarian State Treasury will be terminated on 31 July 2021.
  • Immediate transfers can still be initiated on 31 July 2021 to the previous bank account number, however, from 1 August 2021, these transfers will be cancelled.
  • Before initiating a foreign currency or foreign transfer, be sure to check with your account manager about the expected arrival of the transfer. If it is not guaranteed that the transfer will reach the University's bank account number with the State Treasury by 31 July 2021, then start the transfer to the new bank account number of the University only on 2 August 2021.
• SimplePay debit card payment is available without any problem, so please, if you have the opportunity to do so, fulfil your payment obligation with this payment method.

Due to the change in the tax number of the University, the issuing of invoices is expected to be suspended from 31 July 2021 until 9 August 2021.
