We are glad to be opening the registration for the first ever kind of competition at the University of Pécs and Hungary!

Today, we live in a world where whole countries are experiencing famine, while others dispose of tonnes of food every year. In 2020, food waste is at an all time high, and with the pandemic putting us in an unusual circumstance, it is imperative that we tackle this crisis urgently, for ourselves and for our future.

This year’s Hult Prize challenge beckons young people to combat the system and think out of the box. How can we create change with food?

The Hult Prize is an annual, year-long competition that crowd-sources ideas challenging them to solve a pressing social issue around topics such as food security, water access, energy, and education.

Hult Prize is coming to the University of Pécs to lead, empower and transform how young people envision their own possibilities as leaders of change in the world around them and reward US$1Million to the startup that comes up a great solution that solves the world’s most pressing challenge The Hult Prize is a student competition, open to undergraduates, graduate, and Ph.D. students from around the world.
