Information about the start of the 2022/2023 spring semester.

Dear Students,

 

With the fall semester coming to a close, we would like to remind you of the tasks pertaining to the start of the spring semester.

Registering for the semester

The registration period for the 2022/23 spring semester started yesterday, 23rd January and will last until 10th February. This means that you have until 10th February to change your status to active or passive. You can only register for courses, get a student status certificate, live in a dormitory, extend your residence permit, etc. if your status is active. Students who are Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders had the opportunity to register from 17th January, as you will only be able to receive your scholarship in February if your semester has been activated before the 20th.

 

To register for the semester, in Neptun go to Administration – Enrollment/registration.

Here you will see a new line for the 2022/23/2 term. If you do not see the new semester, make sure to check whether the „Only active” filter is selected at the top. If it is selected, it won’t show the new semester.

Click the ’+’ button at the end of the line and select „Enroll”. A pop-up window will show up.

Here you can select whether you wish to be active or passive. You cannot change your status after this. Make sure you click Save at the end.

 

Your registration is final once you see that the Status is Accepted, and the Term status is active or passive.

 

Registering for courses

 

Course registration will start on 1st February. If you filled out all your OMHV questionnaires, you can register from 9:00AM, if you did not, you can register from 1:00PM. The course registration period will last until 12th February 11:59PM.

You can register for elective courses between 2 February 8:00AM and 16 February 11:59PM.

If you change your mind on any of your courses, you can withdraw from a course or request to be registered late at your department administrator until 19 February.
