Attention all Students!

We would like to inform you about an upcoming change in the traffic order on Szigeti Street, which may affect your daily commute to and from the university. This change is part of a developmental plan (East-West Community Transport Axis Development) to improve the cycling infrastructure in the city and make it safer and more convenient for cyclists.

Starting from March 20th, 2023, the construction of new cycling paths will commence on Szigeti Street. This construction work is expected to take several months and will involve the temporary closure of some sections of the street. During this time, the traffic order on Szigeti Street will be altered, and there may be diversions and temporary changes to bus routes and schedules.

To help you better understand the upcoming changes and the construction plans, we have attached a PDF to this announcement. The PDF file contains detailed information about the construction work, including the timeline, expected impacts, and alternative routes that you can use to reach the university.

We understand that these changes may cause inconvenience and disruption to your daily routines, but we would like to assure you that they are necessary for the long-term development of the cycling infrastructure in our city. We encourage you to use this opportunity to explore alternative modes of transportation, such as cycling or public transport, which can be more environmentally friendly and cost-effective.

We will continue to keep you updated if any further changes to the traffic order are to be expected on Szigeti Street.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
