RESEARCH

 

Instructors and researchers of the UP Department of Roma Studies and Educational Sociology - trying for to involve the students intensively - highlights research activity and participation in the domestic and international research programs. In addition to their independent examinations, they participated in several important research projects, including, but not limited to the below ones:

 

In 1999 and 2006 two researches titled - Chances on labour market of gypsy young people and the role of the non-profit organizations helping unemployed in increasing their changes in the South-Transdanubia (OFA-1999; OFA- K-2005/A 5341/18 - 140)

Between 2006 and 2008 Society and Lifestyles (SAL) Project – Towards Enhancing Social Harmonisation through Knowledge of Subcultural Communities (partners: universities and research institutes of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, England, Russia, Poland, Romania, Moldavia and Slovakia, coordinator: Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania)

 

Between 2013 and 2014 Wor(l)ds which exclude – Excluding words – excluded words (European Commission, Directorate-General Justice: Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, JUST/2011-2012/FRAC/AG) - examination of the excluding mechanism of the housing policies (university and civil partners of Italy, Portugal, Spain, French, England and Romania; coordinator: Fondazione Michelucci Firenze)

 

In 2015 Research and Development titled „Representation of the roma culture in the sphere of content controllers and content carriers and the possibilities of their development (in the framework of the outlined project “Operative implementation of the public education reforms” on behalf of the Education Research and Development Institute, identification No  TÁMOP 3.1.15-14-2014-0001.
