Roma studies

Roma studies

The series of books Roma Studies of our department has been issued continuously since 2000. The publications have three directions, the books with blue cover publish studies and scientific papers of our instructors and our colleagues closely related to the activity of the Research Centre of Romology. They can equally be used in the everyday university education and in the scientific fields, since the texts include monographic great studies, wide-ranging summaries of the professional literature and micro-studies of the narrower professional fields.

The sub-series with red cover publish the studies related to our conferences. The volumes with green cover release the summary, closing materials of researches and projects in which also our professorship participated as an implementor or a cooperating partner.

The German-language sub-series of the series with a yellow cover is the product of a collaboration with the teachers and researchers of the Jean Monnet Department of European Education at the Freiburg Pedagogical College.

The Gypsy Studies Student series (is the “little brother” of the Roma Studies) - worked previously as the publication field of our earlier students and PhP students and it includes the successful theses and papers. This series is less active today.

The volumes of both series can be accessed also electronically in the Electronic Library of Hungary and at the website of our Institute.
